Abney Park's "Aether Shanties" is released today!

Its out!  Steampunk's best known band has released its newest album.  I'm confident it will be as good as their previous works!

A note - this album will be sold in its physical form (e.g. a CD) until supplies run out, then only as a download available sometime next year.  Not quite sure why this is, nor will I speculate, but the album is available, so be the first urchin on your block to own a copy, by visiting:

...and listen to two sample songs as well, "Building Steam" and "Until the day you die", at: http://abneypark.com/market/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=13

Thanks for the post, Doctor Fabre. I may have to check my finances and see if I can spend the fifteen bucks for the cd (bit hard when the typist is unemployed and job hunting).

I did download the sample songs, though. Those are good for events in the Steamlands.

This album is great. It has a real pirate feel to it.

It reminds me of the movie Laputa, Castle in the Sky.
