The Steampunk Travelogue was part of the Steampunk Tribune, "back in the day", when Steampunk was still "young" (er?), and I focused mostly on Second Life. The Travelogue highlighted Steampunk sims from the early days of the Steamlands, but over time, I let it fall to the wayside, with a change to a blended focus of RL (Real Life) and SL (Second Life) Steampunk.
Still, unlike Real Life, where classic builds are more likely to withstand the test of time (at least for a few decades), in Second Life, a beautiful sim may be there one day, and simply "gone" the next - sad but true. Often, the efforts are forgotten over time (e.g. Laputa, Solarya, Airship Caravan)... so to highlight current and past Steampunk sims, I'll be resurrecting the Steampunk Tribune.
Additionally, as Dieselpunk has emerged on the Second Life scene (albeit a tad smaller in scope), I'll add tehm as well
I'll add current and past venues here to the blog, and merging this page with the SL Steampunk page, so if you do have a bit of curiosity about a past or current Steampunk (or Dieselpunk) sim, do take a look here! I'll be adding updates and SLurls as time allows...
